The 27th International
Exhibition AGRO 2015, the most important state level event of the Ukrainian agriculture, and the largest international agricultural exhibition of the CIS and Eastern Europe, was held from June 3 to 6, 2015, on the territory of the National Complex "ExpoCenter of Ukraine" in Kiev.
The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko. "This year, interest in investing into agriculture has significantly increased," the Minister said. The investment inflow into the agricultural sector of Ukraine was about UAH66 billion this year. According to him, it is almost by UAH14 billion more than last year.
The official delegations from Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Georgia took part in the opening ceremony.
On June 3-4, the Ukrainian Agri & Food Strategy Forum was held in the frame of AGRO-2015. This event was organized by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and A7 CONFERENCES.
At the Forum the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine presented the Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development in Ukraine 2015-2020 and the next steps that the Ministry takes while adapting the Ukrainian legal framework in agrarian sector to the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement requirements. This Forum was an exellent platform for representatives of agricultural business, the leading international financial institutions and banks to communicate their concerns, ideas and solutions and discuss them with the state authorities.

In the frame of AGRO 2015
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Netherlands approved the joint action plan.
Vladyslava Rutytska, the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration, held a working meeting with Yuri Nozadze, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Georgia, and discussed the deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the State Space Agency of Ukraine signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in scientific and technology sphere.
Vladyslava Rutytska, the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration, and Matthias Kroen, President of the International Association “Danube Soya”, signed the Declaration of Cooperation.
In the frame of AGRO 2015 the Agrarian Party of Ukraine organized the meeting of Ukrainian farmers. 5,000 participants took part in the meeting.

exhibition of animal industries and veterinary
medicine "Animal'EX", the
exhibition of horse breeding and equestrian sport
"EquiWorld", the specialized exhibition for fish farming and
fishery "FishExpo", the
specialized exhibition for alternative and renewable
energy "BioFuel", the special exposition of farming machinery manufactured by the companies of the Ministry of Industrial
Policy of Ukraine, the specialized exhibition for automation, management, GPS and GIS technology "Hi-Tech AGRO".
The specialized exhibition of organic products and technologies Organic 2015
was organised in the frame of AGRO in cooperation with the Organic Federation of Ukraine for
the third time. The round table "Food security and safety of food - organic vector" was traditionally held in the frame of Organic exhibition as part of project "Development of the Organic Market in Ukraine" implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland), with the financial support of the Swiss Confederation and the USAID AgroInvest. "The development of production of organic agricultural products will be one of the priorities of the Strategy of Agriculture and Rural Development in Ukraine 2015-2020", Yaroslav Krasnopolskiy, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, stated this at the round table.
The specialized exhibition for agricultural construction AGRO BUILD Expo was
held for the first time in the frame of AGRO. Besides, the specialized exhibition ECO HOUSE took place at the Expocenter of Ukraine.
More than 1,100 companies,
associations and research institutes presented
the latest innovations, products and technologies
in agricultural machinery, plant-growing and agrochemicals, livestock breeding, bioenergy, alternative energy, organic farming, and building in agriculture.
The largest exhibition area of AGRO was traditionally reserved for agricultural
machinery. Tthe leading international and domestic producers introduced the new
machines and equipment: harvester-threshers, tractors, multipurpose machines, seeders, sprayers etc.
The group stands of Kyiv, Zaporizhya, Cherkasy, Lviv, Volyn,
Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, and Zhytomyr regions were traditionally located in pavilion 7. Over 300 national
brands of foodstuff and food processing industry were offered at manufacturing prices.
The exhibition attracted 145,000
visitors incl. 25,000 professional visitors.
More than 40 conferences,
seminars and meetings were organized by Ukrainian ministry, committees, embassies, associations
and companies during AGRO 2015.

The International Conference "Potential of Ukrainian soybeans 2015-2020: production and processing", organized by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Feeds and Agriculture of Podillya, and the Ukrainian Association of Soybean Producers and Processors was held in the frame of AGRO 2015.
